Herefordshire Mencap

Working with people with learning disabilities and family carers:

Herefordshire Mencap was started 53 years ago by local parents concerned about the local services provided for their children. Challenging Herefordshire Council and the local health providers remains an important part of its work.

Is it for You?

Herefordshire Mencap is run by local people for local people. It is a registered charity.

Who can join?

Learning Disability Helpline on 0808 808 1111. Mencap can give you information on things like housing, jobs, benefits and local services.

Calls to this number are free.

The helpline can only give information about England. For Wales or Northern Ireland look at the Mencap website.
