ECHO provides a varied programme over 6 days and 4 evenings each week plus additional activities through the summer and at other times of the year. Marshfield is a Social Care establishment operating in North Herefordshire. Opportunities include 4 social businesses, 1 community volunteering scheme and a service offering support for social, leisure and well-being. These are: *horticultural project - includes a contract with the Nature Trust to manage the Millennium Green *Plan it Green - information centre and retail outlet promoting environmentally sound products for the home and garden. Includes a working ground source heat pump. *Leominster Trading - produces wooden items for sale, for example horse jumps. they also have a contract with Queenswood to build and install bench seating. *Unit 5 - Bramley Business Park, office equipment recycling business *Paintbox - a shop in leominster town centre selling arts, crafts and stationery items. *Go4's/Recycling - some recycling but recently expanded into community volunteering, such as dog walking for people unable to leave their homes *Options - supports people to attend activities such as golf and swimming | ||||
